Our first winter quarter GBM is coming up this Wednesday at 8 PM guys!!! Come check out our club and learn about some of our upcoming events for the quarter as well as meet some fellow club members. Coming up as well is a downtown Coronado Shoot as well as a go karting social night. Please RSVP with us below so we can get a headcount for rides.
Photo.Club is currently in the process of recruiting more officers. If you're interested please stay after the GBM for a few minutes so we can give you a quick interview. If you haven't declared interest already please do so through the link below on the forum so we can get a headcount.
Also for those of you who do not already know, PC is starting up Senior Portrait Sessions again!!! Help spread the word! For those interested in participating by maining a shoot, second shooting, assisting, etc please read the directions here before signing up for the assignments listed below. This is an excellent opportunity to work and learn from your fellow photographers and improve your portrait/fashion/etc shooting skills as well as helping your club fundraise.
Last but not least there have been a few changes made to the forum. Photographic related threads in the forum will now be more strictly monitored to ensure discussions do not get interrupted and go off topic. We've added a chatbox at the top of the forum as well as expanded the off topic forum for the chit chat as we do not discourage it by any means as long as it's not in the serious topics :).
The forum has also been expanded with a Weekly Themes section as well as a Photo Critique section to help people improve their shooting. Weekly Themes will feature a new photography assignment every week for members looking to go out and shoot. The Photo Critique section will be used for members looking to improve their pictures through helpful pointers and constructive criticism by their fellow PC members.

Join us for our last major event of the year at La Jolla Shores where we'll be taking a break from studying and celebrating the end of the school year with fun and free food! We will be meeting at the Sun God statue at noon where rides to La Jolla Shores will be provided. The event should last until 4 PM and will be in the form of a potluck. Bring something reasonable to the event as well as a receipt so you can be reimbursed on the spot. Photo contest #3 is on guys! The subject for this contest will be portraits to go in line with the senior portraits fundraising we've been doing this quarter. Guidelines are the same as usual (1024 pixels on the longest side, two submissions per member, etc) and the deadline will be announced at a future date. Submit your pictures in the link provided below!
As for events, there will not be anything this weekend as most of you will be in a hangover after today. However, I do encourage you to post up any pictures you take during Sun God (extra points for arrested students)!
Next week we will be shooting Alpha Kappa Psi's charity fashion show at the PC West Ballroom. Details are provided in the link below. Also, Paul is organizing a Julian day trip on the 30th of May. Please add yourself to the list on the forum if you're interested so we can get a headcount for rides.

yourself! We may disqualify those that vote for
their own photo from the contest.
